He was there a few weeks before me. In August.
Harmen hiked in the opposite direction. And added the spectacular Fimmvörðuháls hike.

I’d say the add-on Fimmvörðuháls hike is the BEST part because it has all the waterfalls.
I did it a few years ago. But in 2023 a bridge was taken out end-of-season when rain threatened to wash it away. SO I had to give Fimmvörðuháls a miss.
