My only guidebook, so far, is Cicerone Walking in the Drakensberg by Jeff Williams.
That hostel provides a hiker’s shuttle to Royal Natal National Park.

Enjoy! I was there quite a few years ago, too long to remember any specific recommendations. I can just remember there was a thunder storm over the Amphitheatre when I was there and it was spectacular! also remember two eagles soaring over the cliffs! Have a great trip!
We used this same guide book, Cicerone, for our trip 2 years ago and thought it informative and accurate.
We did several day hikes in the area, Thukela Gorge was probably my favorite, mostly because it was a gorgeous morning.
