This in INCREDIBLE scenery. Thank you for uploading it!! How long did it take you to hike to the spot where you first show your tent set up? Could getting to that spot and back to the trailhead be a day hike possibily? And was this an actual trail or are you traveling using simply orienteering? I will be going to Iceland at the very beginning of October, 2011. (What were your drinking water sources?) I am a backpacker but a young 63 years. I will have had a knee replacement in May 2011. Doc says I’ll be able to hike. Won’t have a lot of time, but would LOVE to walk part of this. Thanks. I look forward to your reply. Sandra See email below.
