      … I spent all Summer trying to get there from Europe. Could not get a reasonable air fare during high season.

      Promise to get there soon. Perhaps it will replace one of the top 10.

    1. Make a classification like:

      1. day walk = between 3 1/2 and 6 hours real walking-time.

      2. weekend walk = 2-3 days
      ( see e.g. the book:
      Coastal walks around Britain; 15 magnificent weekend walks
      Andrew McCloy )

      3. week walk = about 5 days walking
      (this is done by most touroperators.
      If you talk about the best week section of a long distance trail in stead of the complete trail, you get a more homogeneous product and of much higher quality
