At 2675m (8776ft) Cerro Castillo is the highest peak in the central Patagonian Andes.
We recommend 4 days, 3 nights. The nearest airport is Coihaique, about 75km away.
Though accessible by an excellent highway, only about 1 hiking group / day starts up during the main hiking season. (Jan-Mar)
