Personally, my guided Huayhuash Circuit trek of 2004 (PHOTOS) was the ‘best’ hike of my life.

I hiked this last year after discovering it on your site in 2009 and dreaming about it for a year. My sister and I went with Exodus. I definitely agree that it was the best hike ever; Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit couldn’t compare.

But where do you go from there?
… One day I’ll do something similar in Bolivia. And parts of the Himalaya protected now from trekking could be as sublime. Perhaps Bhutan when it opens to independent travel.
