National Geographic Top 100 Adventures in America
Zion Narrows was number 5 on the National Geographic list in 2000. It’s an awesome hike, thigh deep in places.
16mi (25.8km) winding through one of the most spectacular slot canyons anywhere. There is a long section where there is no escape from flash flood.

Hey I was wondering if you could give me any more info on your personal expierence! I am doing a report and want to know more about it!
Thanks!
I would say it is the best slot canyon hike anywhere — except for Paria Canyon which is longer and even better:

No mountaineering gear is needed on either.
It is a LONG day hike to do the whole thing. Most people should simply start in Zion, walk in as far as they wish, then backtrack.
It’s ideal for kids.
