Between hikes out of Leavenworth, Washington, I ‘active rested’ my feet by jumping on a mountain bike.
I enjoyed a leisurely ride around the cross-country trails at Ski Hill. Jumping off the bike, now and again, to use some of the fitness stations.
My best ride, however, was Freund Canyon Trail #6701

Yikes. The trail was closed due to aggressive cougar threat in 2009. There are no Grizzlies in the region, though.
