How about “Nine Icons Who Would Show Up for a Photograph Who Kinda Rocked The World. Well, Maybe a Few of Them” for a headline?

As I mentioned in my comments when I posted on this, it seems that the selection is very American centric, leaving some other icons off the list, but it’s tough to defend why Amanda Beard is on there other than for the “sexy” factor. Even as swimmers go, there are far more deserving selections.
